A gridded modular bidirectional high voltage gain soft‐switching DC–DC converter and its multiport expansion

Here, a novel modular bidirectional high voltage gain soft-switching DC–DC converter is proposed. The proposed named gridded high-gain (GMHSC) can achieve wide range expansion of port and by filling modules current sharing among these modules. In addition, all semiconductor devices also realize full-load operation in both power directions introducing simple auxiliary zero-current transaction (ZCT) cell each module. A distributed control system including centre controller localized module controllers to improve the converter's design flexibility dynamic performance. Moreover, GMHSC able provide multiple fixed nodes, which makes it suitable expend multiport converter. 1.6 kW 200 kHz experimental prototype based on SiC device provided an efficiency 97.9% 97.7% boost buck modes, respectively. Furthermore, input output ripples are greatly reduced through interleaved GMHSC.
